Will my Moka Express work on an induction stove?

The iconic Moka Express is made of aluminium and features and octagonal base shape. This means it is not compatible with induction stoves which require stainless steel, circular bases. If you already own a Moka Express and are looking for a way to use it, Bialetti have created an induction plate adapter which will allow you to use it on all hob types.

What size is the Venus coffee maker available in?

The Bialetti Venus is available in 4 cup, 6 cup or 10 cup sizes. Remember, these cups sizes are based on traditional Italian tazze sizing, not standard UK mugs. The 6 Cup Venus is the best selling size.

We love our genuine Bialetti Moka pot and wanted to 'share the love' by gifting one to our teenage son at the start of his university adventure. I find the Percolator simple to use and the 10 cup is enough to make 2 regular mugs of coffee. It is very robust and works well on our gas or induction hobs.

Lovely Moka Pot - stylish and great coffee!

I'm used to a bean-to-cup machine at home, but needed something a bit more portable to take when I'm out hiking & camping etc. I've tried the traditional style aluminium ones before, but fancied trying a stainless steel one this time.

The first thing I was struck by was how shiny it is - especially with the copper top section, this is a thing of beauty!

After following the instructions to make a few cups and discard, I made a cup to drink - just with some supermarket Lavazza ground coffee, and it was lovely. Probably going to take a few more tries to hone my technique, but looking forward to testing it "in anger" next time I fancy a coffee on the beach or at the top of a mountain :)

Would highly recommend if you want a moka which is a bit different/more "elegant" than the traditional octagonal style, but just as easy to use
